Ravyn Technology Corp Static Fires Titanium Solid Rocket Motor

Engineers from Ravyn designed a lightweight titanium alloy rocket motor casing around cartridge-loaded propellant grains. This design was validated at a static fire test on a range in California, with optical and thermal instrumentation. A propellant mass fraction of 75% in a 2.75" diameter motor was achieved.
